I know I’m not the only person to be overly excited by the launch of the Wacom Inkling next month. I’ve never properly used a graphics tablet for illustrating, mainly because my co-ordination leaves me when I draw on one surface and the drawing appears on another. Canadian exchange

I’ve recently started exchanging mail art with Jessica Gowling (@jessicagowling), a particularly lovely printmaker and visual artist from Canada, my very favourite place. A couple of days ago I received my very first package from her. When I receive mail art, I find the couple of minutes between finding the envelope and opening it really exciting, while I wait to find out what’s inside. Wonder Pony

This is Wonder Pony, my latest project nearing completion. She still needs a few touch-ups, and is missing her lassoo (where did I put that superglue!?!), but otherwise you can see her here in all her fiddly, primary colour glory.
