Arty Slides

May I announnce that I am the newly appointed ‘President of the UK’ on the Arty Slides International Network. Fanfare please!
Its not as glamorous or in fact important as it sounds – I’m just representing the UK in the very international network. Of course the pressure is now on to actually create some arty slides and get them out there into the world!
So to start my experimenting I got to work with an old Wonder Woman comic and lots of PVA glue. As often happens, I made it up as I went along, but I have to say I’m rather pleased with the outcome! These, along with some other (totally different) slides that I have a rough idea of in my mind will be on their way to other Arty Slide-rs soon.
Congratulations on this new title and responsibility. Did Val convince you to take the job? This project is making me want to dig out my old slides and do something with them.
It was actually Janine who gave me a very warm welcome to the group and asked me to take the role. I’ve really enjoyed working on my first lot of slides, and I have PLENTY more here to work with!
