I’ve given up hope for any sort of warm weather this year, but signs of summer are definitely creeping in to some of the mail art I’ve been receiving this week, from heat-waves and sweltering cats to bright blue skies and bikes. It’s been another busy week for the postal service around the world, and I’ve had many ‘Good Mail Days’. OUTGOING I started the week off with a big MIAOW for Erni Bär, made from an old ad. It got a bit battered on its way over to Germany… maybe someone dared to try and put the cat back in the bag and a claw fight to the death ensued. You never know. In last week’s Mail Art post, Jessica Gowling commented that she had created a MA Monster, and judging by the amount of art that’s stuffed into my weekly posts she might be right! The past week has seen some more postcards, embroidered photographs and Arty Slides arrive at their destinations, and I’ve had a couple of great mail days myself!
