A business trip to London filming for an excitingly big client kept me busy and away from my postbox, so I’m playing catchup this week. Mail Art Monday: Jubilation

This week has ended with lots of parties and celebrations, with Union Jacks coming out of our ears. And, thankfully, my mailbox has woken from its slumber, with a number of exciting and inspirational pieces arriving. So without further ado… OUTGOING Jessica Gowling and Jeannine Saylor, both in Canada, received these Jubilee themed packages, packed full of Union Jacks, newspaper clippings and stickers. The main ingredients, though, were the medals featuring the official Diamond Jubilee logo, and engraved on the back with their names. Happy Monday (if there is such a thing!) Here’s a run-down of the Mail Art happenings at my place this week. OUTGOING I’ll kick off this week with this machine stitched card for Amy Irwen in the US. The circus flyer in the middle was picked up in Spain, and I felt the ace of spades fitted in well to make this almost sinister looking card. She likes it, though, thankfully!
